TASK 2 (Controlling the discussion in a meeting)

Created by : Rayyan Pengayoman and Falva Triez M

Rayyan            : Our restaurant has been established for 1 year, but there is no significant
development,so we want to advertise our restaurant. Should we change the way
we advertise ourproducts?
Falva               : That's a good idea, so we can attract more consumers than before. so that it can be
Famous
Kevin              : I think we have to use the google site to advertise our products to customers.
Rayyan            : Hmm, that sounds pretty good, we don't need to spend a lot of money and make
iteasier for consumers to see and interested in trying our dishes.
Sulthan            : Can I give another opinion? What if we advertise our products using social
media too?Like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
Kevin              : Why do we prefer social media rather than advertising on websites?
Sulthan            : Because nowadays, people tend to use social media and don't want to look
directly at the website. And we don't have to pay anything if we create a social
media account.
Falva               : It seems like both of them can be used to advertise our restaurants to be better
known by the public.
Rayyan            : As long as we just publish it through websites and social media, we will also
provide discounts to attract many consumers and gift toys for children.
Kevin              : Yes I agree with you. I really hope this is the best way to improve our shop and
products.

Formal Presentation

Ø  Good Morning everyone, today we would like to present our presentation. The title of our presentation is how to make good advice to everyone in this country to reduce natural disaster’s victims.

Ø  Few days ago, Indonesia rocked by a natural disaster, Tsunami in Sunda Strait that impact Banten and South Lampung destroyed. This disaster swallows 437 peoples according to news.detik.com.  Why often disasters in Indonesia cost a lot of victims? Is the government wrong? Or is it lack of knowledge in disaster-prone area’s society? Actually, we shouldn’t blame anyone. We must sit together to reduce victims of natural disaster.

Ø  Our first topic, Indonesia is a ring of fire. It means, Indonesia is a disaster-prone area.  Indonesia must be equipped disaster detection device. There must be awareness from the government to budget devices.

Ø  According to Tirto BMKG proposed a budget of around Rp. 2.9 trillion. However, in the Working Meeting, Commission V only approved a budget with a total of Rp1,754,228,195,000. While the allocation of funds for the Basarnas in the 2019 RAPBN is only approved by Rp1,986,896,526,000 in procurement of early warning system.

Ø  In the future, we hope our government can add to budget in procurement of disaster detection devices in every disaster-prone area.

Ø  The second one, whether the society in disaster-prone areas has been educated? We think society has not been fully educated to save themselves, to survive themselves, etc.

Ø  All of elements in this country must be responsible to educate society about disaster management. the government must also actively conduct counseling.

Ø  Maybe, this is our presentation for this session. Is there any question?

o   A: where the area worst affected by the disaster? Why there is no sign of a tsunami?

Ø  Any other question, everyone?
o   B: did the disaster in the Sunda Strait yesterday affect the economic wheel of the community?
Ø  Okay, we hold 2 questions. We will answer one by one.
Ø  The first questions, the worst area affected by the tsunami are Pandeglang, Serang, South Lampung, Pesawaran, and Tanggamus. According to witness, there is no sign. Such as earthquake or low tide. BMKG said krakatau mountain avalanche affect the tsunami.

Ø  The second questions, take a look to this picture

According to PT Jababeka Tbk (KIJA) estimate the impact of damage caused by the tsunami is Rp. 1.5 Billion. It certainly causes reduce of economic wheel society in Lampung and Banten. We hope disaster affected area rise quickly.
Ø  So, the conclusion of our presentation is all of the elements, government and society must cooperate to reduce amount of victims in any natural disasters.
Ø  Thank you very much for your kind attention. Good morning!

today we’re introducing our new Marketplace business, a convenient destination to discover, buy and sell items with people in our community. Marketplace makes it easy to find new things you’ll love, and find a new home for the things you’re ready to part with. We’ll continue to build new options and features to make this the best experience for people.

A.      How customer place an order
Before you they start shopping, buyers have to registered an account.
Browse through our various categories / sub-categories or use the search bar to find their favorite products.
On the product details page, they can either tap on:
·     "Chat Now" to discuss or make an offer with the seller or
·     "Add to Cart" to place the selected item on your shopping cart or
·     "Buy Now" to place an order directly.
Chat Now
Chat now feature allows buyers to send a personal message to the seller directly. If they need more help with product details, product variety and product reviews, they may chat a seller to get an answer right away.
One of the great function within the chat feature is "Make Offer". This is for buyers who would like to offer a different price for the item.
Buy
From product detail page, tap "Buy Now". If variation is available, choose one and indicate their preferred quantity. Once confirmed, you will be directed to the Shopping Cart.
On the shopping cart, select the products they want and then click the "Check out" button.
On the "Checkout" page, buyers have to make sure to:
1. Select preferred "Delivery Address".
2. Check the available shipping courier.
3. Choose desired payment method.
Click on "Place Order" and all done

B.      How to deliver ordered product

Choosing the Right Ship Method
With regard to shipping, the main three shipping carriers here are the JNE, JNT, and Pos Indonesia. Those are the big three for shipping direct-to-consumer ecommerce orders.

1. Reliability

From a reliability standpoint, which is obviously one consideration when choosing your shipping carrier, these carriers are all pretty reliable. They all have very large networks and have been around a long time, and generally you’re going to find that your package will be delivered on time based on the ship method you chose.

2. Availability

The second option to consider is availability. For example, if you’re shipping a very large order, it’s a wholesale order going to a retail customer that’s a pallet, then you cannot ship that via JNE express, so that would have to go freight. So today, I’m primarily referring to shipping small parcels direct to consumer.

3. Cost

With JNE, JNT and Pos Indonesia, they are again comparable from a reliability standpoint. From a cost standpoint, though, it can vary quite a bit depending on a few different factors….

Customer’s Location:

How far away from your warehouse are you shipping?

Actual Weight of the Package:

Is the actual weight 2 kilos or 10 kilos? It would potentially impact the most cost-effective carrier in those cases.

The Dimensional Weight:

How big is the package? This is important, and it’s becoming increasingly important because, for example, Pos Indonesia has different dimensional weight rules than JNE and JNT. If it’s a very large box but is low weight, then you may find that Pos Indonesia is more cost effective.

4. Speed

The other thing to consider is obviously speed. For example, Reguler Service from the Postal Service may not be as fast as, say, Priority Mail. In most cases, it isn’t, especially if it’s shipping a longer distance. And then you obviously have expedited options to consider, as well.

C.      The future of our business

Globalization continues to change the way we live. It also changes the way we shop. Our vision at Reaction is to connect and democratize the world through open commerce. What better way to do so than through a global marketplace?

Thanks to the online marketplace, our world is more interconnected than ever. Split order processing and shipment on Amazon and Etsy allow merchants and shoppers to exchange goods from all around the world through one unified checkout experience. And for the marketplace owner, there are now choices. Without the overwhelming limitations of cost and development time, niche marketplaces, big and small, are launching left and right.

Here’s another possibility: what if every marketplace was connected, regardless of platform? Imagine a retail landscape where every catalog across all platforms is connected, regardless of where that store might be located. Merchants can open up a shop on Etsy, open up a shop on a niche marketplace, and have all their products from Etsy on that niche marketplace, and vice versa. A universal catalog across all marketplaces is a truly global concept.

D.      Giving and responding to suggestion

·         Why are our marketplace charging payment fee?
The payment fee is part of our initiative to continuously acquire and retain more customers for our sellers through more marketing campaigns and higher operating standards.

·         Under what circumstances will payment fees not be collected?
Payment fees will not be collected if:
1. There has been a cancellation of an order by the buyer or seller
2. There has been a return of goods or refund on the order

·         What are marketplace coin?
Marketplace Coins are our official virtual currency, which will be credited to you whenever you have successfully purchased items. You will only receive your marketplace Coins after your order is completed - that is, after you have confirmed the receipt of your order.

For every Rp 1.000 spent on any Preferredsellers, you will earn 1 marketplace Coin. You can use the Coins in order to offset the price of your next purchase - 100 marketplace Coins will entitle you to Rp 1.000 discount off any order from any Preferredsellers. marketplace Coins cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another account.
